The Technobahia industrial park in the Andalusian district of El Puerto de Santa Maria is soon to be home to a new factory manufacturing thin-film solar panels. At 12 noon on 25nd February, Genesis Solar Espana SL, the Spanish subsidiary of the Hungarian Genesis Energy Investment PLC, will be making a project presentation in the Technobahia Business Centre, at which members of the regional government and representatives of the press will have the opportunity to meet senior executives of the company and the technical development team.

Plans for the project (PDF) to construct a production facility at the Technobahia industrial estate were submitted to the district council of El Puerto de Santa Maria (Cadiz) on 27th December. Building work is due to commence in February 2008.

We have rented office accommodation at the new Business Centre on the Technobahia industrial estate for the first two years. We will have a multilingual staff there to support an engineer who will be on site right from the start, coordinating the building project and everyone involved.
